Gatemask has been tested in Tracktion for witch it has been originatly developped : one cool Tracktion feature is that you can apply a VST effect directly on any audio clip of a track (not only on insert or send slots). Gatemask comes with 16 cool internal presets, and space for 16 user presets.

Gatemask can follow tempo or time signature changes. The best results are obtained when you completly mute some of the slices. You can adjust the volume of each slice individually. Gatemask chop a measure (of an audio clip, a track or a whole song) in 32 pieces (called slices). Just in case you don't pick on the subtle hint in the readme (well, I didn't think it was that subtle, but.), Setting the odd-numbered M controls to greater than 3 or 4 will result in an extremely loud output!
#DA SAMPLE GLACEVERB WINDOWS#
On OS X, Tracktion seems to handle windows differently from every other host tested, with the result being that the title bar for the editor will not appear, making it impossible to move or hide the plugin's GUI without deleting/removing the plugin from the project. Note: Harmonical will not work correctly on Tracktion running under OS X. Pretty high cpu usage due to the need to re-calculate 1024 vertices 100 times a second though :-(. Uses opengl to display the modulated spheres (one for every voice). These vertices are then used to generate waveforms for a simplistic additive synthesis engine. Use as a simple stand-alone synth (.exe file included), or copy the DLL into your favorite DAW or sequencer's plugin folder.Ī crazy instrument which uses spherical harmonics to modulate the vertices of a sphere. All controls are mapped to MIDI CC#'s, and you can override the default settings by using the MIDI Learn feature.

But even a pre-wired 2600 will pretty much be able to produce nearly all of the classic ARP synth sounds from the 70s and beyond.
#DA SAMPLE GLACEVERB GENERATOR#
PWM, Sample & Hold, virtual Spring Reverb, Ring Modulation, and a dedicated Noise Generator are all there! Unfortunately, the Arppe2600va does not have virtual patch cords, so it is not patchable like the original synth (it only exists in the "pre-wired" state). But also like the original, it has many Frequency Modulation options which enable it to create some truly weird sound effects. Like the original, it's a monosynth (no polyphony). Based on ARP's legendary semi-modular analog monosynth! This amazing softsynth sounds very close to the original ARP 2600.
